At Christian Counseling NC, we are committed to offering Christ-centered counseling that brings clarity, healing, and direction to individuals, couples, families, and professionals. To provide the best possible care to every client, the following policies guide our process with excellence and fairness.
1. Appointment Scheduling & Attendance
- All sessions are by appointment only and must be scheduled through our office.
- Appointments are 60 minutes in length unless otherwise specified.
- Clients are expected to arrive on time. Sessions will not be extended for late arrivals.
- If you must cancel, you must give at least 24 hours' notice.
2. Labor Collation & No-Show Policy
Cancellations require 24 hours' notice; missed hours' notice sessions will require a prepaid deposit before rescheduling.
3. Counseling Session Fee
- The Individual standard rate is $75 per session.
- The couple's standard rate is $0 per session.
- Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged.
- Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit/debit cards, and online payment options.
4. APS Questionnaire Policy (Temperament Assessment)
- Completion of the APS Temperament Questionnaire is mandatory for new clients.
- This tool enables us to offer accurate, customized, and biblically informed counsel based on God-given temperament.
- Clients are expected to complete the questionnaire promptly upon receipt.
- If not completed on time, the following week’s session will be rescheduled to give us time to compile the required counseling materials.
- This ensures that deeply prepared, Spirit-led insights support each session.
5. Documentation and Counseling Preparation
- We dedicate hours to preparing temperament profiles, marriage plans, healing guides, and biblical counseling documents tailored to each client.
- Delays in client responses affect this preparation and limit the effectiveness of your counseling journey.
- Clients who complete all forms on time receive the full benefit of personalized care and detailed written feedback.
6. Confidentiality and Trust
- All sessions are held in strict confidence, in accordance with pastoral counseling ethics and legal standards.
- Your information will never be shared without your prior written consent, unless required by law.
7. Biblical Counseling Commitment
- Christian Counseling NC is a Christian faith-based ministry. Counseling sessions are grounded in biblical principles and spiritual wisdom.
- We integrate God’s Word with temperamental psychology to provide clarity, healing, and direction rooted in truth.
8. Multi-Client Management
- We serve a diverse range of individuals, including couples, students, and professionals.
- To ensure each client receives proper attention, we kindly ask that you respect time constraints, complete all forms on time, and communicate clearly with the office when any issues arise.
9. Communication Between Sessions
- While we do not provide emergency counseling services, clients may email or leave brief check-in messages between sessions.
- Non-emergency messages will be returned within 1–2 business days.
